ANXIETY TREATMENT OVERVIEW
Our office provides Anxiety counseling provided by trained psychologists.
We utilize an individualized approach based upon your needs. Therapies we offer include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness Based Therapies, and Brainspotting.
Successfully treating anxiety must include treatment goals focused on the biology of anxiety, psychology of anxiety, and lifestyle factors that influence anxiety.
Currently, Dr. Ali Iverson, Dr. Gabrielle Rozio, and Jennifer Salazar, LAC have advanced training in the treatment of Anxiety and OCD.
Here are treatment steps:
Step 1: Complete a 60-minute intake interview.
Step 2: Your therapist will work with you to learn about the biology and patterns associated with anxiety and/or panic, will discuss the rationale for treatment, and will help you understand the treatment structure.
Step 3: Your therapist will work with you during regular sessions to learn and apply skills to manage anxiety.
Step 4: You will learn to integrate these skills into daily life.
